The Most Fascinating Places in Central London to Learn About the British Royal Family

Travellers heading to London may not know anyone living in the capital, but they will certainly be familiar with the famous residents of the Royal Family. The first place to obviously head is the world-famous Buckingham Palace that is the official home of the Queen. The Orangery is a stunning place to eat known for its amazing afternoon tea that uses fruit from its own orchard for the scones.

The palace is the London home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, who stay there along with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Guests will love to see the state apartments, as well as the permanent exhibition called Victoria Revealed that tells the story of Queen Victoria’s life and reign. For something very special tourists should head to Fortnum & Mason that is the fascinating department store known to be the Queen’s shop of choice. The Fountain Restaurant is a great place to head to for an evening meal, while the amazing store itself has many excellent products for travellers to buy as souvenirs or gifts.
